If I coudld I would spend all my time grilling and sailing on the Chesapeake with Capt. Raz and crew…however, when I have to grill alone I rock Weber’s on The Grill for iPad…tons of recipes for eats and rubs…all at your fingertips in big, legible print.

The Amityville Horror House can be yours for a little over a Mill…on the down side you will be haunted and die a horrific painful death left to wallow in the depths of hell forever, but, on the plus side, it does have a finished basement!

I am probably one of a very small number of people who actually liked the movie Joe vs. The Volcano…well, I didn’t really like the movie, but I did love the overhead lighting in Joe Banks’s office and the awesome luggage that he picked up before he set out to sea…the Mayfair Steamer Secretary Trunk is the closest thing to that luggage that I have ever found……now I just need to head to the South Pacific by boat (with a secretary).

I don’t know much…but I know my music…and I know my live shows…and last nights Black Keys charity show for 200 people at Housing Works Bookstore was one of the most rocking, sweaty, kick-ass shows that I have ever attended…and it wasn’t just because I was 12 inches from the band (but it helped)..EVERYONE was rocking out….the guy next to me shot the entire concert on his iPhone and I will post the link once he gets it to me…for now though here is a video shot by a guy a few people behind me…if you look close you can see me up and to the left…the usual shirt…

I went and checked out the new Limelight Marketplace this weekend with my favorite shopper and that was her reaction. A mix of an open air market and a department store, it seemed to have WAY more people than merchandise. A weird mix of Hunter Boots and Mini-Wedding Cakes made of chocolate with so many steps and such narrow walkways I found myself just wandering in circles. Maybe when the crowds subside and it figures out exactly what it wants to be it will improve. The good news is that I scored a few really good hits of “E” in the pink disco room in the back.

A United States Government PowerPoint slide demonstrating the complexities of the situation in Afghanistan…and you wonder why this operation is so fucked up…Hawking, Gates and Bellarosa combined couldn’t figure this thing out…in the immortal words of General Stanley McChrystal, “When we understand that slide, we’ll have won the war.” Ahhh, so many dead people, so little time to put together ridiculous PowerPoint presentations.

Yes, I write some occasionally funny, rarely interesting and hardly every informative shit on a blog with a name that is criticized more than Isaiah Thomas’ reign as Knick coach…but blogs are really supposed to be used for a greater purpose…like the blog, The Street, written by “DC,” which chronicles, through pictures, the actions and arrests of hookers in Miami (Mug shots included). Funny thing is it’s pretty damn interesting.
